I listen to a bunch of podcasts from BBC Radio 4 and one was a book club discussion of Donna Leon's first Guido Brunetti murder mystery, Death at La Fenice. Well, originally I was going to read Iain Piers's An Instance of the Fingerpost, because it was a big historical mystery that's been sitting on my shelf for ages–like 10 years.
